This gelatin silver print, entitled Simone, by Melvin Sokolsky, really captures the 1960’s and the modernist feeling of the time. The futuristic bubble contrasts perfectly with the old buildings on the Seine. The print was originally made in 1963 but printed later and sold at Bonham’s for US$ 15,075 (£ 12,388) inc. premium in 2020 It was signed by the artist, titled, dated and numbered ‘9/25’ in pencil on the verso.

This is a very rare and unusual lithograph of Paris from the air. The original was created by Christopher Richard Wynne Nevinson. The print dates to around 1928-29 and sold at Christie’s for GBP 43,750 in 2018
The detail in this original lithograph poster of the Eiffel Tower World Fair is extraordinary. It was printed by F. Menetrier around 1889 but the original artist is unknown. It sold for $3,800 at PosterConnection, Inc. in 2014
